Genealogical charts, loose notes on the Ely, Yale, Brewster and Beach families, notebooks on the Beach family, extracts from town records, newspaper articles, and correspondence about his research and the posthumous publication of a book on the Beach family. Also includes original documents such as a commission signed by Jonathan Trumbull, 1804, and deeds, also maps of New Haven drawn by Beach, and heraldry research including tracing and templates. Personal materials consist of three travel diaries and an account book of assets and liabilities.
